The Clone Wars

I LOVE Star Wars. Ever since I was 4 years old, when I first watched Episode IV: A New Hope, I've been a big fan. I've watched all six movies over and over again that I memorized what the characters say already. I collect all things Star Wars. I have a whole box of toys (including some from Tita Niks who's had them since the first movie was shown), stickers, and other merchandise. I also have a Darth Vader voice-changer helmet from Tito Jerick and Tita Liz, which won me first place in a scariest Halloween costume contest. My favorite toys are my Boba Fett action figure, an ARC-170 Transformer and my Anakin color-change lightsaber which makes a sound when you hit something with it.

When we saw "Journey to the Center of the Earth", a trailer of the latest Star Wars animated movie, "The Clone Wars", was shown. I was so excited I wanted to watch it right there and then. But I had to wait for some time before it was shown here.

Last Monday was a holiday so we went to Robinson's to watch "The Clone Wars". I was so eager to see all my favorite characters back in action, along with the clone troopers and Ahsoka Tano, Anakin's new padawan. I liked the movie a lot. I especially liked the battle scenes between the droids and the clone troopers. My favorite vehicles, like the V-19 and AT-TE (All Terrain Tactical Enforcer), were also shown in the movie.

"The Clone Wars" is a great movie, like all the others in the Star Wars series. When the DVD comes out, I will be sure to get a copy so I can watch it over and over again also. May the Force be with you!

An Incredible Journey

A couple of weeks ago, when I got off early from school, my family and I went to see "Journey to the Center of the Earth". It was a movie about a scientist Trevor Anderson, his nephew Sean and their guide Hannah and how they traveled to the center of the earth after falling through a hole. In their journey, they saw a lot of amazing things - giant Venus fly-traps, floating rocks, a giant T. rex and glowing birds. There were a lot of funny parts, like the one where, a few seconds after they fell and they still hadn't reached the ground, they all looked at each other then screamed "WE'RE STILL FALLING!!!!!" My favorite part, though, was the one where they were being chased by the T. rex. That was exciting. I really enjoyed this movie.
