Kartunista

Summer is over and I'm back at school. I am now in Grade 3 and there is something new. This year, we were finally given the chance to choose our own club (for co-curricular activity). Last year, everyone had to join Kab Scouting. I had fun there, but I wanted to choose a different club for this year.

My first choice was the Basic Animation Club. I wanted to learn more about doing computer animation. But when I went to their classroom, I was told that there were no more slots available. My next choice was the Blue Horn. The Blue Horn is a magazine for the Primary School. They publish stories, poems, drawings, and puzzles. But there were no more slots there too. My third choice was Kartunista. It's a club where you make your own comic strips. I was so happy when I found out that I could still join the club.

I've made a cartoon strip before, when I was six or seven years old. It was about "The Brave Jedi". I'm looking forward to making more comic strips this year with my new club.
