The Perfect Surprise

Last week, Papa announced that for Christmas, he had a "family surprise".  He wouldn't give us any clues.  All he said was that he was sure we would all enjoy it.  I thought it was going to be a really big cake.  But this morning, while I was preparing to go to school, this was what I saw...
Papa said it was just an empty box.  But then I looked beside the TV and there it was - the white rectangular shape of a Wii!  I couldn't believe it - we had a Wii!

Ever since I first played in a Wii in Ate Eileen's house, I wanted to have one.  But my parents said it was expensive, so I didn't ask for it as a present.  Now, we have one because Papa won it in a raffle.  I wanted to play right at that moment, but I had to go to school (it was the last day of exams).  Mama said I could play in the afternoon.  In the bus, I was so excited to go home after school. Now Trixi and I can play here at home.
