Trick or Treat

We went trick-or-treating here in our village.  I dressed up as a wizard because I like Harry Potter.  Trixi dressed up as a pirate girl.  It started to rain when we were preparing to go to the clubhouse so we had to bring umbrellas and rain coats.

At the clubhouse, there were many kids in different costumes. There were witches, ghosts, superheroes, a Grim Reaper, a werewolf, and other scary characters.  I became friends with the boy wearing the werewolf costume.  He recognized my costume and told me he also liked Harry Potter.

We went all around the village to get candies.  Some households did not prepare enough goody bags so some of the kids and yayas became wild and started pushing.

After going around the village, the kids went to the clubhouse for a party.  I had spaghetti and fried chicken, which I devoured quickly because all the walking made me extremely hungry.  At the party, I ate with Luigi who lives behind us.  We used to be classmates in preschool and we used to play a lot together.  But since we moved to different schools, we hardly get to see each other anymore.

There were some games for the kids after dinner.  I joined the game where you had to burst the balloons with darts.  All the kids before me either failed to hit the balloon or missed the board completely.  When my turn came, I threw the dart and it hit a balloon!  Alas, there was no prize inside.  All it said was "Try again".  I went home disappointed, because I didn't get a prize, but at the same time happy, because I got a lot of candies!

Neat costume, kuya! I also had a chance to play games for candies! I would've enjoyed the ice-cream like you did, but instead, I got to eat a cheeseburger and a couple of chocolates and candies afterwards. I wish you and Trixi were here to join me at the Cerritos Halloween Fair...I know we would've had a blast together!!!Maybe next year????
