A Splendid Dinner

Last night, Papa and Mama took us to dinner at TGIFriday's.  They said it was to celebrate Trixi and me getting well and both of us doing well in school during the first grading period.  It was chilly inside the restaurant.  We got a table beside the window.  I asked for the Kid's Menu and was surprised to see an entree listed as "Kids' Fingers"!  Did that mean that they chopped off the fingers from the children there?!  It turned out to be fried chicken strips which were crunchy outside but juicy inside.  It came with yummy french fries which I liked a lot.  

For dessert, I ordered the Oreo Madness.  I read in the menu that it was vanilla ice cream sandwiched by Oreo cookies.  My favorites!  I was so excited to dig in when it came.

Mama thought it was quite big but I finished it (with brain freeze coming in at the end of the meal).  I filled out the comments and suggestions form which I found on our table and gave it to the lady by the door.  I really enjoyed eating at TGIFriday's. I hope we can go back there so I can enjoy the great food!
