An Evening in Trinoma
Last Saturday, Tita Niks invited the whole family to dinner at Abe in Trinoma for her birthday celebration. We've never been to Trinoma before so I was excited to go to a new place. I was also looking forward to asking Tito John and Tita Tintin about their trip to Hong Kong and Tita Niks about her scuba diving.
It rained so hard when we reached Quezon City so there were traffic jams everywhere, but we still got there on time. We had a few minutes to look around before the 6 pm dinner. We went to Toys R Us and I saw a Lego Star Wars Imperial Dropship which I want so badly. I'll probably ask for it as a birthday present.
For dinner, we went to a restaurant called Abe. The grown-ups ordered a lot of food but I only ate the cocido. It was really good. For dessert, I had a banana crepe. What was written on the menu was actually mango crepe, but I asked them to use banana instead because that's my favorite. It was quite big, yet I was able to finish it all by myself (Trixi didn't want her share).
After dinner, we went to Powerbooks to read a little. Mama bought a few books, including "Eragon" for me. It was late already so we had to go home. I had a really great time that night. I was able to get together with the rest of my mom's family, enjoy good food and see a new place, all in one night.
