In our house, it’s usually Mama who prepares our food. But for her birthday, Papa, Trixi and I made dessert for her as our gift. Papa bought the ingredients and Trixi and I helped in the preparation.
First, Papa put a layer of cream and condensed milk on the bottom of a pan. Then Trixi and I put a layer of fruit cocktail. On top of that, we placed a layer of graham crackers. We repeated the layers and ended with a layer of fruits. Trixi and I sprinkled graham cracker crumbs on top (Trixi even got some in her eyes because she blew on them). Then we made a banner, which said “HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA” and placed it on top. We named it “Fruit Delight” (maybe I’ll even serve it in my restaurant). Mama was so surprised and happy when we gave it to her.
