Beach Day!

I got up early Saturday morning. It was a very sunny day, perfect for swimming. I was so excited to go to the beach. I brought a shovel, a rake and a pail so I could build a sand fort. We went to Saud Beach Resort in Pagudpud. We swam and played in the sand. I saw some lobsters being sold at the beach. I also saw hermit crabs running around. The water was cool. The waves were quite big. I was sitting down in the water when a wave came and pushed me back. When I thought it was over, I got up. But unexpectedly, another wave came and splashed me on the face! We would also lie on our tummies and be carried backwards by the waves then get pushed forward by the next wave. We did not stay long at the beach because we were going back to Manila.
The ride home was even longer than the one going there. I was getting bored but Papa made the trip enjoyable by telling funny stories and playing with Trixi and me. I slept most of the time. We arrived in Rizal Medical Center at 1:30 the next morning. I was tired and sleepy from the long trip but I enjoyed the whole vacation. I really want to go back to Vigan someday. Maybe you readers should go there too.
